Kitsap Lake Elementary Mission, Vision and Collective Commitments

Mission:

At KLE, our school family cultivates a supportive environment that prioritizes emotional well being and rigorous academic standards to ensure every student thrives socially and academically.

Vision:

Kitsap Lake Elementary: Where everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.

Update from Principal Takata

Dear Eagle Families,

As December unfolds, it’s hard to believe we are already nearing the end of 2024! This month is a time for reflection, celebration, and togetherness, and we’re excited to share in the joy of the season with our students and families.

Highlights of December

  • Spirit Week: Our students and staff are looking forward to our week of spirit. Check our graphic for daily themes.
  • Monthly Assembly: We look forward to our December assembly hosted by our Highly Capable folks to celebrate Empathy.
  • BINGO Night: December 12th is our KLE Bingo Night! We hope to see everyone join us for some fun. We will have wonderful auction items and enjoy some Bingo excitement. Please return RSVP's next week.
  • Classroom Celebrations: Teachers will share details about any classroom activities planned to celebrate the season.

As we head into winter break, we encourage families to make time for reading, playing games, and enjoying quality moments together. The memories made during these moments are just as important as academic success and contribute to the whole-child learning we value so deeply. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with our Weather/Emergency School Closure Procedures.

Winter Break Reminder
School will be closed from Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025. We hope this time brings your family rest and joy.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season!

Sincerely,
Principal Takata

Transportation Changes

Make sure you communicate transportation changes through the office. Often times, if an email is sent to the teacher and they are out, we do not get the message. Calling the office before 2pm will help make sure the information is received. Thanks for your help.
