We are seeing another surge of illnesses going around the school, and we need your help in keeping our students and staff healthy. While we know it can be difficult to keep kids home, especially when they don’t want to miss school, it’s essential that we all do our part to prevent the spread of germs.
Please monitor your child for symptoms and keep them home if they experience any of the following:
✅ Fever of 100.4°F or higher (must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning) ✅ Vomiting or diarrhea (must be symptom-free for 24 hours) ✅ Persistent cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing ✅ Severe congestion or nasal drainage that makes it hard to focus on learning ✅ Unexplained rash or red, watery eyes
If your child has been diagnosed with a contagious illness (such as flu, COVID-19, strep throat, or pink eye), please follow your healthcare provider’s guidance and notify the school.
We appreciate your support in keeping Kitsap Lake a safe and healthy place for all students to learn. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office.
Thank you for your partnership in promoting a healthy school environment!

Spring class pictures will be taken on Friday, March 14th by Quality School Portraits. Each class will have a group photo taken, so be sure to dress your best! Individual spring pictures will only be taken for students who return an order envelope/order online or for those who did not have a picture taken in the fall.
Please place your online picture orders by 5 PM on Thursday, March 13th. This will allow us time to finalize the list of students scheduled for individual photos.

We appreciate your ongoing partnership in helping our students develop important life skills, including proper bathroom etiquette. Recently, we have had to limit unsupervised access to the restrooms due to concerns about inappropriate restroom use, including urinating in unexpected places, improper wiping, failure to flush, and not washing hands.
Next week, we will reopen access to the restrooms but will remain vigilant in monitoring appropriate use. If we suspect that a student is not helping maintain a safe and clean environment, we will communicate with families directly.
Please take a moment to review bathroom expectations at home with your child. At school, we remind students to: ✔️ Go ✔️ Flush ✔️ Wash ✔️ Exit
Thank you for your continued support in reinforcing these essential habits. Your partnership helps us maintain a safe, sanitary, and respectful environment for all students.
