We are looking forward to be Bremerton 2025 on Saturday, May 3, 2025! As in the past, groups will meet at Evergreen Rotary Park before heading downtown to beautify our city before the annual Armed Forces Day Parade.

Brief Team leader meeting



8:30 a.m.

Volunteer check-in at Evergreen Rotary Park (in the covered picnic area on the side of the park with the 9/11 Memorial). Group photos/selfies (as time allows)



8:45 a.m.

Volunteers gather in the amphitheater for a brief welcome message, group picture and instructions.



9:00 a.m.

Teams head to their assigned areas to clean up downtown.



9-11 a.m.(ish)

Teams clean up downtown Bremerton!



Between 11:00-11:30 a.m.

Teams return to Evergreen Rotary Park, return tools and team leader bags, and enjoy a cookie!

Kindergarten Countdown!

🎉 Kindergarten Countdown! 🎉

Incoming kindergarten students are invited to visit their neighborhood school with a grown-up on Friday, May 9 for a fun and informative visit.

🕚 Times:

  • Armin Jahr Elementary: 11:00–11:45 a.m.

  • All other elementary schools: 10:00–10:45 a.m.

Come take a tour, meet our staff, and ask questions—no RSVP needed! Just check in at the Welcome Center (main office) when you arrive.

Purposeful People Character Trait Focus for May

Creativity:

This month is all about Creativity. One way to think about Creativity is by using your imagination to create something new or solve a problem.


Each month, there are required district recognition and celebration priorities. These monthly celebrations are:


  • required by state law and/or board policy
  • included on the District printed wall calendar
  • include an element/expectation of recognition or an educational component in all schools such as curriculum/lessons, assemblies and/or staff celebration/acknowledgement
