🎃 Fall Festival Fun is Coming! 🎃
Our annual Fall Festival is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate together! This year promises to be full of laughter and school spirit — students will even have the chance to tape the principal to the wall and see Dr. McSheehy get a pie in the face! 🥧😄
We’ll also have House buttons available for purchase so students can show off their House pride in style 💙❤️💛💚.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been sending in candy donations — we appreciate your generosity and can’t wait to see all the cakes coming in for our beloved Cake Walk! 🍰🙌
This is one of our favorite community events of the year — a time to come together, have fun, and celebrate our amazing Kitsap Lake Eagles family. We can’t wait to see you there! 🦅✨

Notes from the Nest
Dear Families, We are committed to keeping our school a safe and welcoming place for every child, and we need your help reinforcing an important message at home. Please take a moment to talk with your student about the importance of telling a trusted adult at school right away if they ever see or experience bullying behavior — even if they’re not sure how serious it is. Kids sometimes worry about “tattling,” but we want them to know that reporting unsafe behavior is an act of courage and kindness that helps protect others. If you are hearing of repeated mean or bullying behavior please reach out to your child's teacher or myself and we will work to make sure your student is heard. Together, we can make sure every student feels supported and safe.
Have a great weekend!

Counselor Corner
Hello KLE families,
As we continue to discuss Bullying Prevention, in classes we discussed the importance of a bystander (those who see bullying happen). We discussed the importance they play in reporting, stopping and assisting those being bullied.
To celebrate the importance of Bullying Prevention in our building we will be celebrating UNITY DAY on Wednesday, October 22nd. We will be working with house Onraka (the house of unity) and wearing orange to support Bullying prevention. This will be an opportunity for our students to know how we can unite and one Eagle family to celebrate our community.

Responsibility
In October the focus is Responsibility. Responsibility is “taking action and understanding the impact of our choices.” Taking action can mean doing the right thing or completing the tasks you have been assigned. Understanding the impact of our choices means that our actions matter.
