We are thrilled to announce that Kitsap Lake Elementary has achieved a significant milestone in our latest Washington School Improvement Framework (WSIF) results! This year, we are celebrating a ‘clean sweep’ as our school has officially crossed the improvement threshold in every single measured category. This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the ‘L.A.K.E.’ spirit—Learning, Achievement, Kindness, and Excellence—in action. From significant gains in English Language Arts and Math proficiency, especially for our students supported with Special Education services to our high rates of regular attendance and student growth, these scores prove that our intentional, data-driven supports are working. This success belongs to our incredible students who show up ready to learn, our dedicated educators who go above and beyond every day, and our families who partner with us in this journey. At Kitsap Lake, we aren't just meeting expectations; we are setting a new standard for excellence and ensuring every student has the foundation they need to thrive!

Dear KLE Families,
Thank you for your continued partnership and for taking the time to participate in our Spring Family Conferences. We truly value the opportunity to connect with you, share your child’s progress, and work together to support their growth and success.
Your involvement makes a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for the strong home-school connection that helps our students thrive.
As we head into Spring Break, we hope you enjoy this time to relax, recharge, and spend time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for the remainder of the school year.
We will see you when we return!

Dear Families,
We hope you have a restful and enjoyable Spring Break! As we welcome students back to school, this will be a great time for all of us—students, staff, and families—to reset and reconnect with the routines that help our school days run smoothly.
At school, classroom teachers will be reviewing important daily routines and expectations with students. To make this process engaging, students will be completing a fun “MVP” card. This activity helps students reflect on the positive habits that support their success, such as being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. Once completed, students can turn in their MVP card to earn a House Point for their team!
Consistent routines are essential for helping students feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. You can support this work at home by reestablishing routines such as regular bedtimes, morning preparations, and structured homework or reading time. When students experience consistency both at home and at school, it strengthens their sense of stability and belonging.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. If you have any questions or would like additional ideas for supporting routines at home, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warmly, Maura Crisp SEL Dean of Students

Please take a moment to check our Lost & Found! We have a large collection of coats and other items that are hoping to be reunited with their families. As the weather can still be chilly, we’d love to help get these back to students so they can stay warm. Feel free to stop by or send your child take a look!

Be Bremerton Day is a chance for our school community to give back by working together to clean and beautify downtown Bremerton! It’s a fun way to show pride in our city and help get it ready for the annual Armed Forces Day parade. Here is the link to our district page and event schedule.
